Inclusive Consulting is delighted to be partnering with an innovative Sheffield-based SaaS business to recruit a Project Delivery Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing technology company where you'll play a pivotal role in delivering software implementation projects, whilst helping to shape and develop the project delivery function as the business continues to scale.
We're specifically looking for someone who has previously managed and delivered software or technology implementation projects and understands the software development and implementation lifecycle.
Role Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of software implementation projects, from initial kick-off through to successful go-live and handover.
- Manage multiple concurrent customer projects, ensuring milestones, timescales and deliverables are achieved.
- Act as the primary point of contact throughout the implementation process, building trusted relationships with clients and managing expectations.
- Work closely with internal technical teams and customers to coordinate project activity, manage risks and resolve issues proactively.
- Develop clear project plans, facilitate workshops and provide regular stakeholder updates throughout the project lifecycle.
- Drive continuous improvement by reviewing existing implementation processes, introducing structure and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency for both clients and the wider business.
Person Specification
We're looking for someone who can hit the ground running and bring previous experience of delivering software projects within a technology environment.
You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience in a Project Manager, Project Delivery Manager, Implementation Manager or similar role within a SaaS, software or technology business (essential).
- A strong understanding of the software implementation lifecycle, with experience managing projects from sale through to successful customer go-live.
- Experience managing multiple software implementation projects simultaneously, balancing competing priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to lead client meetings, influence decisions and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong organisational, planning and problem-solving skills, with the ability to remain calm and solutions-focused in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience using project management tools such as Jira, monday.com, Asana or similar, alongside a proactive mindset and genuine passion for improving processes and delivering an outstanding customer experience.
