Inc. Consulting is excited to partner with an established building products business to recruit an experienced and hands-on Accountant at their Doncaster site. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive finance professional to join a busy and collaborative team in a varied role where they can make a real impact across the finance function.
Job Description
- Preparation of monthly management accounts and supporting financial reporting
- Managing balance sheet reconciliations, journals and bank reconciliations
- Supporting month-end and year-end processes to ensure accurate reporting
- Assisting across Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger functions when required
- Producing financial analysis and investigating discrepancies or variances
- Working closely with operational teams to support the wider business
Person Specification
- Previous experience within a varied Accountant or Management Accounts role
- Strong understanding of transactional finance and comfortable picking up ledgers
- Hands-on approach with the ability to support across all areas of finance
- Confident using finance systems and strong Excel skills
- High attention to detail with the confidence to question numbers
- Team player with a collaborative and proactive working style
